Under The Colour Factory flag we work together producing imaginative community and educational projects. The MakingUpcoming public events: Street Art The Making's Street Art programme for young people will be running digital photography workshops and video diaries at The Popley Festival, Popley Fields Community Centre, Carpenters Down, Popley, Basingstoke 11am - 4pm on Sunday 18 May 08, and at Basingstoke Live Music Festival, War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, 11-13 July. The Theatre of Making The Making's very popular Theatre of Making, the UK's first touring participatory crafts programme, is open to all age groups and abilities. It allows the public to meet and watch leading artists at work, learn about materials and processes and experience the pleasure of 'hands-on' making. The Theatre of Making will be at: Alive and Kicking Party in the Park at Walpole Park, Gosport 10.00 am - 4.00 pm on Saturday 27 July 2008. Balloons over Basingstoke, War Memorial Park, Basingstoke 12pm-6pm on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2008. All the workshops are free but first come, first served.
