Isle of Wight Open Studios

Isle of Wight, 18-21 July & 25-28 July 2008

The Open Studios on the Isle of Wight has been divided into two areas this year, to take place over two weekends in July: Friday 18th July - Monday 21st July in South and West Wight, with North and East Wight between the 25th and 28th July. This is a trial development to enable artists to visit each other's studios, and to allow visitors longer to browse in each area. The Island's diverse geography is matched by our wealth of over 70 local artists who open their studios and homes to the public each year. What better way to spend a weekend this July than browsing, greeting and chatting with our local artists while getting a feel for our micro-climate, our downs and beaches and rocky coastline that is never the same in two towns! Similarly our artists’ studios reflect a huge variety of artistic backgrounds, disciplines and media; never the same twice...
