Open Studios 2008
Welcome to the Open Studios website for 2008. Now in its third year, the site aims to provide up to date information to visitors, journalists and artists exhibiting in Open Studios across the region. It is also a resource for artists, offering guidance to individuals on taking part in established events or setting up their own.
This year the site is more comprehensive than ever with information on the wealth of open studios, more links to arts organisations and a refreshed press room with downloadable news releases and images.
The idea for the site came about as a result of co-operation between local councils and Arts Council England, South East and is supported by open studio organisers, artists and visual arts organisations across the region.
With more links to these organisations, visitors to the area – and residents – can use it as a 'one stop shop' to find out about open studios and other related events happening throughout the year. Why not design an arts trail through the beautiful Hampshire countryside and enjoy the sheer breadth of talent in the region?
